ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in New York and New Jersey. I received my masters in social work from Columbia University. While I studied and trained to work with individuals across the lifespan, I have a special interest in working with adults and seniors. My areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, infertility, grief and loss, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and interpersonal relationship struggles.

Prior to graduate school, I worked in the tech field as a sales rep and account manager for several years. During that time, I found I was most excited by the relationships I built rather than the work itself. That is one of the reasons that led me to my decision to return to graduate school to become a therapist.

While in graduate school, I completed internships with the Dominican Women’s Development Center (an Early Head Start program in Washington Heights), the ACT Institute (providing training and support for Assertive Community Treatment teams across the United States), and a private group practice on the Upper East Side. After finishing graduate school and receiving my LMSW, I worked for several years at a community based clinic in New Rochelle and at a private group practice, providing individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents and adults.

In my practice, My goal is to create a safe space that allows for real human connection and support in identifying what challenges clients are hoping to overcome. You can expect to be met with empathy and genuine curiosity.

I look forward to meeting you!
